Kansas Wheat Festival Button Design contest entries are due this Friday, April 1 by 5 p.m. Artists must be at least 16-years of age, and reside in Kansas. There is no entry fee for the contest, the winning designer will be the recipient of $500 in cash.
There is also a Kansas Wheat Festival Steering Committee meeting set for tonight (March 28) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. At the Memorial Auditorium. The Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event to hear ideas and meet with potential volunteers.
The 116th wheat fest will be July 6 to 10, 2016 in Wellington.
